Attorney Profile

Terri L. LoTempio, Esq. is an experienced practitioner primarily engaged in the fields of matrimonial and family law litigation, with experience in the area of personal injury and criminal law. Her experience ranges from the handling of fundamental matters to extensive trial work involving various complex legal issues, including prenuptial/post-nuptial agreements, relocation, custody, child support and equitable distribution, as well as appellate practice.  She makes every effort to exceed her client’s expectations by providing appropriate legal advice, extensively negotiating resolutions which serve each client’s best interest and obtaining the best outcome for her clients in litigation.    

Terri began practicing law in 1996 at LoTempio & Brown, P.C. There she developed a focus in matrimonial and family law practice, while also gaining a variety of experience in a general practice environment, including personal injury and criminal law.  In March 2012 she started  LoTempio Law Firm LLC, where she currently practices with a focus on matrimonial and family law issues.   

Terri L. LoTempio graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in 1992 with a degree in English and minor in Spanish/Women’s Studies.  She earned her law degree in 1995 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Law.   During law school, she worked for the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington State and clerked for New York State Supreme Court Justice Vincent E. Doyle.  She is currently a member of both the New York State Bar Association and Erie County Bar Association.
